This position is based in the picturesque city of Hot Springs, AR.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited program.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Professional Engineer registration (or eligibility).
  • Experience working in heavy industrial environments is essential.
  • Strong technical expertise in power distribution, electrical rooms, MCCs, VFDs, transmission, and heavy industrial power systems.
  • Familiarity with P&IDs, PFDs, and equipment specification.
  • Proficient in the engineering and design process, including front end engineering, cost estimates, gated reviews, detailed engineering, and construction support.
  • Experience in both brown field and green field projects.
  • Proficiency in National Electrical Code.
  • Skilled in AutoCAD and MS Office.
  • Comfortable with client-facing interactions and effective communication with project teams and customers.

Responsibilities:

  • Support proposal preparation and scope development.
  • Undertake engineering, designing, and technical tasks to facilitate the delivery of small to large heavy industrial projects.
  • Manage project delivery across all phases, from concept to start-up, including construction and commissioning support.
  • Conduct calculations, studies, and reports (e.g., grounding, lighting protection, load studies, arc flash).
  • Develop equipment specifications for procurement.
  • Collaborate with other disciplines (Civil/Structural, Mechanical) for design coordination.
  • Provide mentorship to less experienced engineers and team members, ensuring high-quality engineering deliverables consistent with project standards and safety requirements.
  • Maintain regular correspondence with clients and external personnel.
  • Offer short-term field support during construction.
  • Contribute to power distribution design and Arc Flash reports.
